I started working with the Internet in the early 1990s. I remember when I first saw the World Wide Web I told my best friend that it would never catch on! Well, I certain can eat those words. In those days, Ruth and I did have some great times training students, faculty and teachers in Northeast Ohio.

From the beginning I wanted to have my own domain.

Then life got in the way. I moved onto a different job. I spent way too many hours working and not taking care of my family, my friends or myself. After being downsized twice, I found a job that I positively love. The idea of having my 'own' space came back to me recently.

I wanted a website where I could be completely free with whatever I did. My favorite Internet activities: photography, blogging and podcasting. I, also, have friends who work at  iLinc Communications and I enjoy their software.

I have way too many photography sites and blogs spread throughout the Internet. This site will be an attempt to keep everything down to a couple of sites. I was getting tired of having to remember where to send friends if they wanted to see this photo or that.

My podcasting has only been on one site so having multiple podcasting sites hasn't been a problem.

As for Grey Wolf - he was a friend who died late July 2007. I missed him.

Once I started looking for my domain so many of the domains that I tried were already taken. For some reason, I decided to try friendofgreywolf one evening and it was available. Problem solved. Originally I planned on getting a tattoo to remember Bob. Somehow this seems more appropriate.
